Chalet Edelweiss is a luxury alpine chalet located in Les Contamines-Montjoie, one of the most prestigious ski resorts in the French Alps. The website chaletedelweiss.fr showcases exclusive accommodation, amenities, location highlights, booking details, and gallery content to attract high-end travelers and clients seeking upscale ski holidays.

The goal of the project was to create a visually compelling, easy-to-navigate site that reflects the luxury experience, highlights key offerings, and enables visitors to explore accommodation options and book stays seamlessly.

Challenge

Known for its unmatched elegance and high-end hospitality, Chalet Edelweiss needed a website that showcased its exceptional offerings with sophistication and warmth. Their previous online presence did not fully communicate the chalet’s luxury atmosphere or the breadth of curated services available to guests.

The website lacked a strong visual identity, navigation was not aligned with user intent, and important information—such as amenities, galleries, and booking options—was difficult for visitors to find.

Discovery & Strategy

We began by understanding the expectations of Chalet Edelweiss’s target audience—high-net-worth individuals and luxury travelers. The strategy focused on crafting an experience where every section of the site reinforces comfort, exclusivity, and premium hospitality.

We mapped the user journey to ensure details about rooms, amenities, location, and booking options were always intuitive and easy to reach.

Design

A refined, sophisticated visual direction was developed using expansive imagery, soft neutral tones, and elegant typography to reflect the chalet’s grandeur. Full-width galleries, subtle animations, and structured layouts were used to create an immersive experience reminiscent of a luxury travel magazine.

Every design decision supported three goals: clarity, elegance, and emotional engagement.

Development

The website was built on WordPress with performance and responsiveness at the forefront. Clean code ensures fast load times despite heavy visual assets, and fully responsive layouts guarantee a consistent experience across all devices.

Clear calls to action—such as “Book Your Stay” and “Discover the Chalet”—were placed strategically to simplify inquiries. Navigation was rebuilt to guide users effortlessly through galleries, amenities, and booking information.
